Jacob Riggs with a 42 in ,15.5 lb. northern he caught on Millecoquins Lake. Jacob, age 7 an experienced angler from Irons, Michigan was fishing with his Grampa and Uncle Bob. The story goes; he cast to the edge of the weeds, fought the fish for some 20 minutes until Uncle Bob netted him. Grampa Frank was inspirational with instructions. Josh later caught a 20.6 in walleye. The families are staying in club cabins this week. Jacob has two older brothers, Joey and Josh who were also fishing that day. |

This is the 16 lb., 40" Northern caught Feb. 17 on Lake Millecoquins. Mitch Nash, caught this bad boy using a tip-up and a little minnow. The fish was really fat around the middle. |
