        * Late Firearm Antlerless Deer & Late Bow Season End.
 19th  * Board of Governor's Meeting at the Activity Building Starting at 9:00 a.m.    
 31st  * Raccoon Hunting & Raccoon, Muskrat, & Mink trapping Season end.


February
1st    * Last Day to apply for Spring Turkey Hunting permits.
 17th  * Free Fishing weekend.  Have Fun!!
 28th  * U.P. Walleye, Pike, & Muskie seasons close.


March
 1st   * Coyote, Fox, & Bobcat Trapping & Fox hunting Season ends.-
 9th    * Daylight Savings Begins, don’t forget to set your Clocks ahead 1 hour.
 21st   *Good Friday
 23rd   *Easter
 

April
 1st     * Michigan Anglers age 17 or older need a 2008 Licenses.
 19th   * Board of Governor’s Meeting at the Activity Building Starting at 9:00 a.m.
 28th   * General Trout Season Opens.-


May
14th    * U.P. Walleye, Sauger, Pike & Muskie Seasons Open.
          * Last Day to Apply for Bear Hunting Permits.
 24th   * Office will be open for Memorial Day weekend.
 25th   * Office will be open for Memorial Day weekend.
 26th   * Memorial Day, office will be open.
 31st   * Hand-Netting Season ends for Smelt & Other Species.-


June
  28th    * Annual Meeting at the Activity Bldg. @ 9:00 am
           * Annual Dinner Dance - Check the Current Events for more information.


July
1st     * Antlerless Deer & Fall Wild Turkey License Application Period begins.
4th     * Independence Day!  Have a great 4th of July
15th   * Coyote Season opens.
19th  * Board of Governor's Meeting at the Activity Building Starting at 9:00 a.m.


August
1st      * Deadline to apply for public land Antlerless Deer & Fall
           * Turkey Hunting Permits.
           * Crow Hunting Season opens.
2nd      * Art Show at the Activity Bldg.
3rd      * Art Show at the Activity Bldg.
30th    * Labor Day weekend, office will be open.
31st    * Labor Day weekend, office will be open.


September
1st     * Early Canada Goose Hunting season opens (check regulations for changes).
1st    * Labor Day, office will be open.
15th   * Ruffed Grouse, Rabbit, & Squirrel season begins.
 24th   * Woodcock season opens.
          * National Hunting & Fishing Day.
 30th   * General Trout season ends.-


October
1st      * Archery Deer season opens.
          * Raccoon hunting season opens.
18th    *Board of Governor's Meeting at the Acitivty Building Starting at 9:00 a.m.
 20th   * Pheasant hunting season opens in Lower Peninsula.
 25th   * Bobcat trapping season opens in Upper Peninsula.
 31st    * Muskrat, Mink, & Bobcat trapping begins in U.P.
           * Pheasant Hunting season closes in U.P.

November

14th    * First Segment of Archery Deer season ends.
          * First segment of Ruffed Grouse season ends.
          * Lower Peninsula Pheasant & Quail season ends.

December
1st     * Archery Deer season resumes.
         * Ruffed Grouse season resumes.
         * Late Pheasant season opens in part of Lower Peninsula
         * Bobcat Hunting season opens in U.P.
 7th   * Muzzleloading Deer season opens in Upper Peninsula.
 24th  * Christmas Eve.
 25th  * Merry Christmas! Office will be closed.
 31st  * Bass season ends.
          * New Years Eve.
