HILGA FLOWER WORKSHOP
The Hiawatha Art Club will be hosting internationally
renowned master watercolorist and mixed media artist,
Helga Flower, for a three day workshop for adult HSC
members, on June 18, 19 & 20, 2009, at the Hiawatha
Club Activities Building.
Helga, a native of Munich, Germany, has won numerous awards
and is a Signature Member of the International Society of Experimental Artists.
She has also had paintings accepted into the exhibitions of the transparent watercolor society of America.
Helga is an excellent instructor whose passion for creative art is
evident in the quality of her paintings and those of the
aspiring artists she instructs. Helga’s work can be viewed at her website: www.helgaflower.com.
Because Helga places great importance on teaching each person at his or
her own level she has requested we limit our registration to about 22 participants.
Cost per HSC participant will be $150 for all three days. A down
payment of $75 will be required to secure a place on the list.
The remaining $75 will be due on or before February 1, 2009.
Registration will be open to the public, at a cost of $200 per person,
if we do not have 22 fully paid participants from our HSC
membership by the February 1, 2009, final payment date.
Cost to public participants will be due in full at time of registration.
Refund to any person who cancels will be made only if that person’s spot can be filled.
Helga Flower will be staying onsite in one of our HSC
rental cabins. Her workshop agenda includes morning and afternoon instruction.
The building will be open in the evenings for participants who care to continue painting and critiquing.
